Ruth Diskin

International Competiton Director of the Jerusalem Foundation’s Arts & Culture and Projects Departments, and Curator of the Micha Shagrir Film Collection, Ruth Diskin served as the head of the International Relations and Marketing Department at the Sam Spiegel Film & TV School, before founding and directing Ruth Diskin Films – an international marketing & distribution company that sells and promotes high-quality documentaries around the world.

Nicola Galliner

International Competition Nicola Galliner, born in London and living in Berlin since 1970, is the founder (in 1995) and director of the Jewish Film Festival Berlin & Brandenburg, and has brought more Israeli films and filmmakers to Germany than any other festival. She was head of the Adult Education Department of the Berlin Jewish Community for over 20 years and has brought out several books on Jewish life in prewar Berlin. 

Raphaël Nadjari

International Competition Born in 1970 in Marseilles, France, Rafael Nadjari attended a Jewish school and yeshiva in Strasbourg, while starting his art and theater studies. Nadjari worked as a director for ARTE, and in 1999 relocated to New York, where he directed his debut film The Shade. His films include I am Josh Polonski’s Brother, Avanim (Stones), Night Song, A Strange Course of Event and the documentary A History of Israeli Cinema

Hélène Schoumann

Journalist and writer Hélène Schoumann is a correspondent for The Jerusalem Post (French Edition), hosts a radio show on cinema, and is the author of a dictionary on Israeli cinema. Schoumann serves as President of the Israeli Film Festival in Paris.

Udi Lion

Israeli Short Film Competition Udi Lion is one of the founders and managers of the Ma’aleh School, founding CEO of the Gesher Multicultural Film Fund and Program Manager at Keshet Broadcasting - Channel 2, where he developed television series such as Arab Labor.

Yair Agmon

Israeli Short Film Competition Born in 1987, Yair Agmon is writer, director, film professor, and columnist. Agmon published five books, and his first feature-length documentary, Rachel Agmon, was screened in the Official Competition at the last Jerusalem Film Festival.
