Artist, director, screenwriter and teacher Menachem Roth received his B.F.A in plastic art from Bezalel, cum laude, and his master’s degree in visual communications from the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne, Germany. Roth works with experimental cinema and video installations. His feature debut about Haredi society, Pursued, won the Israel Film Council’s award. Roth lives in Jerusalem and teaches at the Art Department at Bezalel and at a high school for the arts.
