The Brutalist

USA 2024 | 215 minutes | English | Hebrew subtitles

Winner of the Best Director Award at the Venice Film Festival, The Brutalist is a monumental historical epic directed by Brady Corbet and starring Oscar-winner Adrien Brody (The Pianist), Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything), and Guy Pearce (Memento). The film follows Hungarian-born Jewish architect László Tóth (Brody), who immigrates to the US after the war with nothing. By chance, he lands a massive architectural project that transforms his life for the next 30 years. A stunning and stirring film that reexamines the American Dream and the capitalist system through the eyes of a Holocaust survivor who chose America over the Jewish State.
