1984. Nike is struggling to find its footing in the sports shoe market. To save the company, its marketing manager decides to gamble on a future NBA player named Michael Jordan. Now he only has to convince his family. Air reimagines the events that brought the world the Air Jordan brand and presents the most enjoyable Capitalist legend. The script is witty and swift, the ensemble is excellent, and Ben Affleck has already proven (in Argo, for example) that he knows how to direct such dramas with ease and momentum. In short, this is a tremendous work that should not be missed.
