Jungle Fever

Against the backdrop of Stevie Wonder's songs, Spike Lee casts another glance at race relations in American society. A black architect from Harlem, married with a daughter, develops a romantic relationship with his secretary - a single white woman of Italian origin. Lee translates social, racial, and gender subjects into cinematic settings: dramatic, aesthetic, and musical – and even three decades the film is as relevant as ever.
