The life of a jealous husband spins out of control when his wife, an attractive actress, meets a slick Hollywood director. Thrown into the mix is a drug dealer, an aging portrait painter, a team of paramedics and a group of nuns, triggering a fateful series of events that plays out over the course of 11 minutes.
Polish director, playwright and actor Jerzy Skolimowski began his career in the 1960s, co-writing Knife in the Water with Roman Polanski. He continued to direct over 20 films, winning numerous awards, including the Cannes Grand Prize of the Jury (The Shout) and Best Director at Venice (The Lightship). 11 Minutes won a special mention at its world premiere in last year’s Venice Film Festival.
