“Imperfect” volunteers are transformed by the experience of caring for rescued “imperfect” farm animals. This optimistic and profoundly moving documentary invites us to follow the journey of the unique relationships that develop between the ‘imperfect’ farm animals rejected from the food industry rehabilitated at Freedom Farm Sanctuary in Israel, and their “imperfect” human volunteers marginalized by society, who deeply relate to them, and go above and beyond to care for them.
