During a particularly bad theater performance of "Le Cocu," Yannick, a security guard who traveled especially to see the play, gets up on stage interrupts the show to take the evening back in hand. Quentin Dupieux continues to present his unique take on cinema, which starts from an unusual situation and makes even more surprising turns. Yannick is a surprising, amusing, and shrewd film that explores the relationship between art and the audience and reality and imagination. Dupieux does this with a nonchalant grace, and the result is a quick and enjoyable delicacy.
