We meet Chilean couple Augusto and Paulina just as Alzheimer's begins to disrupt Augusto's memory. They used to be a significant couple in Chile's cultural scene: he was a senior journalist, documenting the atrocities of the Pinochet regime. She was an actress and later the Minister of Culture. As his condition deteriorates, Augusto drifts further away, but their closeness does not fade. Maite Alberdi follows the two with sensitivity and gentleness, portraying how love and compassion overcome adversities. The result is a "striking and intimate piece of cinema" (Playlist).
