The Filth and the Fury

UK, USA 1999 | 108 minutes | English | Hebrew subtitles

In 1980, Julien Temple, a young British filmmaker, made a film about "The Sex Pistols," the wild young group of British musicians who shattered the harmony and status quo of the rock music world. 20 years later, Temple returns with a more sober, somewhat nostalgic look at the band, following its development parallel to the socio-political situation in Britain of the late 1970s. With plenty of archival footage from rehearsals, TV appearances and live concerts.
