Secretary

Lee Hollaway is released from a mental institution where she spent time after attempting suicide. In order to put her life in order, she signs up for typing classes and looks for a job. She is hired as a secretary by Mr. Grey, a ruthless and efficient lawyer whose strictness has left all his previous secretaries in tears. But Lee thrives on his criticism, and the latent sado-masochism in their relationship soon comes to the surface. Believe it or not, though, their interdependent relationship turns into no more and no less than love... The result is one of the more intelligent romantic comedies of the beginning of the new millennium, moving between the fantastic and the realistic, the pathetic and the heart-warming.
