Saw

Two men are locked in a public bathroom, each cuffed by the feet to one of the walls. On the floor: a pistol, a cassette recorder, a pair of saws and a body. The cassette informs them: If by 6 o'clock Dr. Lawrence Gordon, one of the prisoners, doesn't kill his roommate, then he, his wife and daughter will be killed... Yes, a sadistic serial killer is on the loose. While waiting for 6 o'clock to arrive, we watch a pair of cops trying to follow the trail of the killer, as we get a look at previous "saw killer" murders. Saw is one of the more effective horror films of the millennium, with an original plot, polished production values and a good amount of nerve-wracking enjoyment.
