Tao is a dancer at a Beijing amusement park that features replicas of over 100 architectural wonders from around the world (the Egyptian pyramids, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, etc.). Her boyfriend Taisheng works as a security guard. Though they live at World Park, they are hardly citizens of the world. Now, their relationship has arrived at a crossroads and the seemingly protective microcosm of the amusement park proves to be fragile and vulnerable. A film observing the changes occurring in industrialized China.
