When his young son threatens to kill himself over a woman, Francesco Vincenzini takes on the task of confronting the young woman. But behold, he finds himself head-over-heels in love. The fact that he is married, with a grandchild, does not even faze him. As male idiocy is always relevant, this comedy – produced over 50 years ago – still works today. The Tiger and the Pussycat is hilarious, with credit going to the marvelous Vittorio Gassman, whose performance is one for the ages.
