Angèle, a young undocumented woman, manages to get through life with her charm and wit. When she is threatened by gangsters she conned, she comes up with a plan: working as a nanny in a chic Parisian neighborhood. With new awareness of the working conditions of the other nannies and their precarious situation, Angèle takes matters into her own hands. The film examines the tension in French society: racial, between the wealthy and the poor, between citizens and immigrants, and examines what remains of “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité.” These charges convert into a noteworthy and lively comedy that benefits from the charismatic presence of Eye Haïdara in the lead role.
