Hawthorne, a fine dining establishment set on an island in the Atlantic Ocean, hosts a dozen guests an evening and is run by a stern chef that offers not just a dining experience but one that appeals to all the senses. As the evening progresses, it becomes clear that the experience is turning into an adventure that no one is sure if and how it can be escaped.
