In a park on a rainy evening, 19-year-old university student, Fumi, offers shelter to a soaking wet 10-year-old girl, Sarasa. Realizing her reluctance to go home, Fumi lets her stay in his place, where she spends the next two months in peace. The two form a special bind that comes to a halt when Fumi is arrested on suspicion of pedophilia. Fifteen years later, these two lonely souls reunite as the past resurfaces and those around them questions their relationship. The emotionally saturated cinematography and the tremendous performance elevate this moral melodrama into an exceptional and powerful film.
