Keiko life goal is to not let her hearing impairment stop her from becoming a professional boxer. She has the support of the boxing club’s manager and her path seems set until the threat of closure looms over the boxing club. Small, Slow but Steady is a modest and reflexive work, boasting minute gestures and which dramatic tension derives from the emotional turns of its heroine.
