Sweetness in the Belly

When civil war breaks out in Ethiopia in the mid-1970s, Lily, born in Britain and adopted by an Ethiopian family, has to flee. In London, worried about those left behind, Lily must make some difficult choices. The film is a "deeply felt drama about one woman's refugee experience" (Common Sense Media).
