Three Colors: White

France 1994 | 91 minutes | French | Hebrew subtitles

"White" stands for Equality in this second film in Kieslowski's flag-colored trilogy. Karel, a barber and Polish immigrant in France, meets a young Parisian hairdresser and the two open up a shop. But a hasty end to their marriage leaves him homeless, crushed, back in Warsaw and trying to win her back.
