Simon Wesier has just been released from a psychiatric hospital and is about to become a father. His wife, a rabbi, is not convinced that he is ready. How can this young, fanciful, and emotionally wounded man take care of a child when he can’t even look after himself? Enter Théodore, an endearing and cantankerous teen raised by a single mother, who will give Simon the chance to reflect upon his imminent fatherhood and seriously upend his insecurities. Over the course of one night, as Simon's wife and Théodore's mother form a united front, these two rebellious souls set out upon wild and touching quest for self-acceptance and mutual understanding.
