All About My Mother: 20Th Anniversary

In July 1999, All About My Mother opened the Jerusalem Film Festival, after conquering the Cannes Film Festival, on the way to a long line of awards, including the Oscar for Best Foreign Film. 20 years on, All About My Mother, remains an excellent film, a smart melodrama on the movie that plays on the heartstrings.

"Dedicated to Betty Davis, Gena Rowlands, Romy Schneider - to all the actresses who played actresses, to all women, to actors who transform into women, to all people who want to be mothers, to my mother." This is the end title of the movie. This summer, we would like to revisit this film and the films that resonate within it, and to the actresses who starred in them.
