Nir Bergman, one of Israel’s most esteemed filmmakers and writer of In Treatment, won the Best Director Award at the Tallinn’s Black Nights for Pink Lady. Bergman’s touching and uplifting comedy drama was written by Mindi Ehrlich, a member of the Hasidic community in Jerusalem who drew from her own experience to write the script.
