Carla is a new high school teacher. Naive, full of good intentions, inexperienced. When the school suffers from a series of thefts, her colleagues in the teachers' room try to solve the matter directly and not in the most pedagogical way. Carla, sure she has more educational tools in her hands, only ensures further turbulence. The Teachers’ Lounge is "a taut and tight examination of the concept of justice folded into an absorbing character study" (Los Angeles Times).
