This is the true story of Jiri Arvéd Smichovsky, a man who dabbled in the occult, black magic, and Kabbalah, and was later nicknamed the modern Faust. During World War II, he collaborated with the Nazis, and then with the communist regime, resulting in the death of dozens. Based on Smichovsky's life story, Vojtech Masek creates an original cinematic biography, which flexibly moves along the timeline and outlines how this character and actions ultimately lead him to a mental and physical abyss.
