Opening remarks (in Heb.): Prof. Yoav Rinon
Italy 1975 | 117 minutes | Italian | Hebrew subtitles

Pasolini created many controversial films during his career. But none of them reach the heights of Salo. Pasolini adapts the Marquis de Sade book to the big screen, presenting perhaps one of the most disturbing and repulsive films ever made. It is also one of the most important ones - a sharp criticism of fascism and idealism.
