Anaïs' life is stuck: her doctorate, her apartment, her relationship are at a standstill. But then she meets Daniel, a book publisher and quite a bit older, and Emilie, a brilliant and luminescent novelist, who is also Denial's longtime partner. Charline Bourgeois-Tacquet debut film features a contemporary protagonist: a young woman who leads a reckless anxiety-free existence. Much of the credit goes to Anaïs Demoustier, who lights up the screen, and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, who brings a quiet charisma that completely captures the heart. Anaïs in Love is a luxurious and sweet romantic comedy.
