Lian Brosh, a graduate of the Bezalel Department of Screen-based Arts, thinks it's great that the LGBT representation in animated series has grown. Anan Gibson, also a department graduate, cynical and bitter as usual, thinks Holywood lays its sticky fingers on an overlooked community. Lian and Anan will (argue) take you on a short journey down the history of queer representation in cinema and the world of animation; will discuss the important iconicness of the Disney villains, how the LGBT-Q demon robbed all the cool boys of their He-Man and the Joker, and why Rebecca Sugar makes us feel good. Come learn about LGBT-Q history and shout at us! The lecture contains spoilers!
