Gemma’s parents abandoned her at an early age. Her grandfather tried to do his best. In this Scottish town, where the sole source of livelihood has closed, there is not much to do. It’s bad for adults and even worse for the younger generation. Gemma’s story is a poetic and heartfelt juxtaposition between destiny and choice.
